McAfee3 Architects, Inc. is a female-owned, African-American firm with headquarters in Atlanta, GA, and offices in Dallas, TX, and Wichita, KS. Its impressive portfolio of projects has helped shape Atlanta, including the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, program management of the 1996 Olympics, the master planning and station design of MARTA, and the building and site accessibility for the Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Biography 
Atlanta architect Cheryl McAfee FAIA, NOMA, grew up in a home shaped by leadership, civic activism, and transformative architecture. Her father, architect Charles McAfee FAIA, NOMA, is noted as one of the most important African American architects in the United States.
In 1990, Cheryl was the first woman to receive an architectural license in the state of Kansas. She was elected as the first female president of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) in 1995, and was elevated as a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 2003.
As part of Charles McAfee Architects and Planners, Cheryl was the principal architect for the joint-venture master-planning and design efforts at the Hartsville-Jackson Atlanta International Airport from 2000-2016. Assuming leadership of the firm in 2006 renamed McAfee3 Architects, Cheryl led the Program Management for the design and construction for all thirty-three sports venues and legacy projects for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
Recent projects include the complete modernization of the six major libraries for Fulton County including South Fulton, Northside, Buckhead, Mechanicsville, Robert Fulton – Ocee, and Spruill Oaks branches in the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System.
