Presentation Details
The goal of this presentation is to enhance both your personal productivity as an Agile leader and that of your team. We will explore the 5 key principles of time management, apply those principles, and discuss the most effective tools & techniques for Agile teams.
Are you distracted? Research shows we check our phones 144 times a day. Think of all the other sources that demand your attention… notifications, buzzes, pop-ups, and reminders. What adds value, and what strips away our ability to focus? We need to find a balance and model it for our squads.
In this presentation, we will share ideas for maximizing your personal productivity and that of your team. We’ll explore the topic of time management, first by identifying the five essential principles. Next, we’ll apply those key principles with practical advice from Cal Newport, author of Deep Work, and others, like Jerry Seinfeld. Many tools offer a wide variety of features and functions aimed at making you more productive. Which ones work best? What about for Agile teams that are remote? We’ll review the most promising tools and techniques, and you’ll leave this presentation with fresh ideas for taking your team to the next level.
